So, because I am a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to blogging, I have not made one post the entire summer! And now you all have to look at this HUGE post I am doing... It may take a few days, but it's our summer, and every part seemed so special that I had to share it :)
We went on quite a few hikes this summer with our friend Roxanna, her three little boys, Lincoln, Seth, and Jake (who we babysit), and her brother, Jesse.
Jakey:)
Lincoln.
This Hike was to Lindeman Lake.
Some crazy pics at the Hooge's (with Jesse)
Don't ask :)
Meanwhile the mothers had tea...
Unknown to them, the kids went crazy in the backyard!
This was our Camping trip at Hicks Lake... This butterfly loved Mom!
Ouch! Jerica's bike accident.
Calm time by the lake in the evening, (There were less mosquitoes there than at our campsite :)
We went down to Harrison for a few hours, played some football.
When one doesn't have shoes, you improvise! (with gloves and the ever-handy duct-tape!)
Yay for salmon berries!
Ever-faithful berry picker.
Hiking's always fun when you have someone to hold your hand and support you from falling.
The attack of the giant spider!
Our neighbour's cat...
and cute kittens!
freezing blueberries
Bridal falls with our cousin, Sarah-Beth, and Jesse.
More berry picking,
Another hike up to Lindeman.
We love and miss you, Sarah-Beth!
They could pass for sisters, right!?!
We finally got our L's!
For the past few years we have gotten together with this dear couple, Harry and Helen, for Easter and other dates. Helen is our Great-Grandma's cousin, and Harry is her husband of about 12 years.
Sadly, this August Harry passed away, and we miss him. We will always remember his laugh, his stories, his special wave, and his love.
Our trip to Manitoba:
Jerica always claims the backseat, for this reason :)
Mom, our faithful "pilot"!
The beauty of the mountains never fails to surprise us.
An uncommon sight- in Alberta.
old cabin...
We stopped by our cousin Sherri and Chet's house, and spent most of the time playing with their four beautiful children.

Rock Lake.
At the park with Megan Froese, playing football.
If you can't find Jerica, she is probably up a tree nearby :)
That's a big tree for Manitoba!
That was so fun, Megan!

We met our friends, the Pauls, there, and sat with them while listening to the singing.
This is cute little Elijah.
He makes the funniest faces!
One day we met with our auntie Al, cousin Leslie, and her two daughters, Kenzie and Livie.
This is what she did when we asked her to smile and look at the camera :)
Olivia
Kenzie
These girls love the beach!
Out to Grandma
Just a bit cool
Aunt Al thought she could easily beat Jerica in an arm wrestle...
But Jerica was stronger than she thought! (Jerica beat her!)
A date at iceberg, being silly, as usual.
We love sunsets in Manitoba!!!
Jordie driving.
Riding in the back of Grandpa's truck.

On our way back!
Lots of reading...
And back to the mountains. We probably take the same pictures every time we drive by, but it's so beautiful!
That's a lot of snow for August!
A break at our favourite river.
Beauty in death...
Mud!
Sun rays are amazing shows of God's creation.
We stopped at a Bed and Breakfast. All the cabins were full, so we slept in a teepee!
Snuggling in the teepee. :)
The new style...
We packed all our meals for our three-day trip.
We spent a little time at a quiet pond at the B+B.
The lodge for teepee campers.
Feeding minnows...

Back in BC, and a hike up Teapot Hill.
