Christmas Break!

This Christmas, like every other Christmas, we drove to Manitoba to have Christmas with our family.
It is always the highlight of our year, and we look forward to going back again the minute we leave!
Here are some pictures of our time there.

Jerica and I desperately wrapping the last of the presents at 12:00 the night before we left!

Beautiful mountains on our drive.

Us in the snow quinsy that Dad and us built then dug out.

This owl kept flying back and forth across the road when we stopped to watch it, so it was
hard to get a clear picture, and zoom in so far!

 Beautiful snowflakes on a window. . .

Every year it's a tradition on our mom's side of the family that we have Christmas Eve and Day at Christian Enrichment Family Camp. (Rock Lake). We rent the lodge, and about 27 of us stay there overnight. We go sledding down the long driveway, ski-doing across the frozen lake, playing card games, opening and playing with presents, and just talking. Here are all the presents which the kids hand out on Christmas morning.

 Us three opening our stockings.

Playing card games with our cousins.

Skippo-Dutch Blitz with the Pauls girls. We slept over one night and had an awesome time playing, talking, and skating. Thanks guys!

Another tradition we have is to go to Tim Hortons with Grandpa, on Mom's side, get a drink, and play a game where you try to hit a bottle cap to a certain place on the table. The person who gets the closest the most, wins!

Our grandma, Great Aunt Odd, and our Great Grandma Cox talking. Aren't they so sweet?

Cards with our Great Grandma Neustaedter.

Relaxing and conversing at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

The depth of the snow on Oma's deck table through a foggy window.

Dad and us with some of our crazy cousins (On Dad's side).

One of Oma's feeders and it's cute customer :).

Sunset at Mom's cousin, Karl's place, near Calgary.

 Karl and Joanne's sweet baby.

Isn't he cute!

Our cousin Sarah-Beth.

On the way home, in the mountains, we saw a herd of mountain goats in the exact place we had seen some two years ago!

There was three big males on the side of the road, and the rest were down in the woods.

Us under a beautiful, wooden bridge on our way home.

A beautifully frozen puddle near the river.

That was our Christmas, and sorry for taking so long to get it on. Hope you enjoyed it!
